DSB Comments

This was quite a complicated build. To be honest, this was our first thatch cottage roof we had undertaken, and the timber frame is arranged differently than on a traditional tiled/slate roof. Also with any old building, nothing is straight or level!

As a listed building, there were obviously heritage finishes to take into account, along with a sympathetic internal design to properly reflect the style and age of the property.

The client was delighted with the final outcome, and on reflection, we were pretty pleased with the result as well.
